what one always has to remember, is that no GPS commercially available is accurate. Built in error leaves a 92-96 % error. 1/4 to 1/2 mile approximately.
This is mandated by the government (military) for national security. Only military and governement agencies have GPS that are 100% accurate. Naval and Coast Guard ships of all nations can also rely on LORAN (LOng Range Aids to Navigation), with commercial and mercheant vessels utilizing equipment with built-in errors.
Critical errors in both GPS and LORAN are necessary so that commercial users (like you) can not accurately target locations (military and industrial).
Bearing this in mind, $100 would be top proce I would recommend paying for a GPS unit. Accuracy bears no relationshipt to expense.

Just buy one with the features you need and not overkill. Garmin in my opinion is one of the best. I have the Garmin C-330 that I bought new for 129.00 and it suites me very well. Super ez to use.

I guess I’ll never understand this . I drive a truck all over the US and rarely go to the same place twice . But I go right to it almost every time .I have no GPS system or anything else orther than an atlas. I could maybe use one . but probably not.
I guess there will always be people who can’t pull their head out of their ass long enough to figure out where their going so they would might need one. Are you one of those people ?

That looks like a decent deal if it is for a legitimate GPS. That is a very nice unit with some nice features on it.
With WAAS, which uses the satellites and towers for the signal, you can get accuracy around 10-20 feet.
