How should I mount my Garmin Nuvi when traveling in Minnesota?

I’m going to be traveling in MN for a short vacation (wedding) and I’m wondering what the cheapest way to mount the GPS will be. MN has that fun law of no windshield suction cup mounts which is what my Nuvi came with and I always use.

   I went to Radio Shack and bought a “bean bag” mount. Basically, it is just a fairly heavy mount on non skid. Attach the suction cup to it and set it up on the dash. I have not had any problems with it moving or shifting while driving. I would recommend you look someplace like Wal-Mart instead, because you could probably find one for a cheaper price. Also, it avoids the tell-tale suction cup markings on the windshield. Apparently, thieves will sometimes break into a car if they see those markings trying to steal your GPS navigator.
